The BG men's basketball team picked a great day to snap a three-game conference losing streak, shocking No. 23 Kent State at Anderson Arena.
The Falcons were led by Brian Moten. Moten was lights out from the perimeter, going 6-of-9.
Freshman point guard Joe Jakubowski had easily the best statistical performance of his career with 21 points and 12 assists.
As a team, BG was 11-of-21 from 3-point range.
The Flashes were led by Mike Scott with 23 points and Al Fisher with 20.
BG moves to 13-14 on the season and 7-7 in the Mid-American Conference.
