A student’s body was discovered in Falcon Heights today.
Roderick Bartlett, 21, died during the weekend and his body was discovered in his room Monday afternoon, according to an email sent to students, faculty and staff from President Mary Ellen Mazey.
Bartlett’s body was discovered by University Police after a relative contacted Falcon Heights when unable to reach Bartlett, said Dave Kielmeyer, University spokesperson.
The cause of death is unknown as of now but no foul play is suspected, Kielmeyer said.
The residence hall staff at Falcon Heights declined to comment Monday.
Bartlett, of Detroit, was a middle childhood education major in the College of Education and Human Development, as stated in the email.
